How the idea began

'How can I help you?'

In my corporate days, I began our daily team meetings with a different question. Instead of asking project managers for a status update, I asked: 'How can I help you?' That question shaped how I led - and became the idea behind rentPM. Today I start the same way: understand what is getting in the way, then help you move forward with practical advice, hands-on delivery or the right person.

The founder

Experience behind the advice. Judgement behind every match.

Gabrielė Bitinė, founder of rentPM

I built high-performing project teams by choosing every person myself.

I'm Gabrielė Bitinė. Over fifteen years, I have led projects, programmes and portfolios, built high-performing teams and co-authored the PMBOK® Guide - a shared reference for good project management. I bring that experience to both the work I take on and the people I select.

rentPM brings that same personal judgement to your business challenges and every match. As AI changes how we work, I also help project and product managers navigate their next step through mentoring, coaching and practical training.

  • - PMBOK® Guide 8th Edition co-author (first in Lithuania & Northeastern Europe)
  • - Certified in portfolio management (PfMP), first in Lithuania; led a €152m infrastructure programme
  • - Mentoring, career advice & certification training for project and product managers

My approach

Business priorities first. People and delivery together.

Technology enables. People deliver. rentPM makes it happen.

AI can process data and automate admin. But projects still succeed or fail because of people - people who solve problems, align stakeholders and build real relationships.

A hive works through many different contributions, all connected by a shared purpose. I see project teams the same way: expertise, judgement, empathy and clear communication matter together. That is how I approach consulting, delivery and matchmaking.

Domain expertise

Relevant experience, grounded in the realities of your industry and the work you need to deliver.

Human judgement

Reading the room, weighing trade-offs, solving the problems no dashboard predicted.

Trusted relationships

Building trust with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders - that is where projects are won or lost.

Personal matchmaking

A short, considered shortlist chosen by a person - not endless scrolling through profiles.

The changing world of project work

Less movement. More change.

The labour market is slower, even as work changes faster. For businesses, that means reassessing priorities, building the right skills and supporting people through change. It is why I combine consulting, delivery, personal matchmaking and mentoring.

How the matchmaking works

From business need to a considered shortlist.

Like Upwork for project professionals - with one difference: every match is hand-picked by me first, not pulled from a database.

  1. 1

    Tell me what you need

Your project, your challenge, your budget and timeline. We agree the essential requirements together.

  2. 2

    I personally find the match

I look through my curated hive, check relevant experience and references where appropriate, and identify professionals whose experience fits the agreed brief.

  3. 3

    Meet your match

You meet a small shortlist of well-matched professionals and decide whether to go ahead - on your terms.

Matchmaking fee & search terms

A transparent matchmaking fee.

“Before the search begins, we agree on the essential requirements. If the candidates I present do not meet those criteria, I make a reasonable additional search effort. If I still cannot present a suitable match within the agreed search period, the matchmaking fee is refunded under the agreed refund terms.”

These terms cover the matchmaking service only, not consulting engagements. They do not guarantee a hire, an engagement or any project outcome - those decisions remain yours.

Flexible expertise

Expertise, on terms that work.

Short-term projects, part-time, consulting and consulting on demand, interim roles, longer assignments and permanent placements - I match for temporary and permanent positions alike.

I believe flexible work should be open to everyone - parents, caregivers, experienced senior professionals and people returning after a career break. I never ask anyone about their age or family circumstances. I ask about experience, availability and preferences.

Join the hive

For experienced professionals who prefer to be matched, not searched.

A carefully built hive, not a crowd of profiles. I review every application personally, looking for people whose strengths complement the team.
